I support this all the way, most of the "rates" are just to increase their post count, and really seeing those dont even help a spec. People are getting so used to having great non detailed rates, they get so mad at seeing someone who actually knows what they are talking about.

That's the problem right there. The way you're thinking, why not help create more artists? They have to start somewhere.

No. I am causing any problem. There is a huge difference between 'artist' and 'designer'. The latter is what most people think they are by making a cool thread design for their freshly-made ebook on how to make billions and get sluts to date you. They make something simple and easy on the eyes but in no way with any structure or beauty, no real color compo, and such designs lack the essential elements of 'art'; Lightning, shading, composition, flow, etc...
With that being said, those people are not artists by any means. They hold no real interest in art. Wait, you think we haven't tried to create artists? I was 'created' an artist by fbn and I owe them a lot, I learned because I wanted to learn and do more than thread designs for my skype friends. What is in the RMG is barely art, anyone could do that kind of stuff on MSPaint.

I despise thread designs, I was talking about real designs and such. Photo manipulation, etc. but yeah I guess it's true we don't see a lot of that here.
The only section that honestly hasn't went to cancer is the Photography 101 section, lol.

Oh like photo manips and tags? The things that died on HF because people never cared and thought it was so easy to do? Yeah I know. I used to tag a lot and do photo manips as well, what people post isn't even 'design' at this point. It's like me hitting a table with a spoon and comparing it to Mozart's work.

Idk why but people ask for a rate on a thread that is literally just four boxes of color with text on it calling it as professional and original.
