Man, it's just like 5cm/ps if you guys are describing it as somewhat boring romance with beautiful artwork.

It's tagged as a 'romance' film but it's just not at all.
It's more of a mystery movie then a romance movie lol.

The need to connect with someone is what got to me in the movie.
It's probably a human thing to have hope that we some day find someone that connects with us on a high level.
Many souls out there are alone, that's why! =)

I often find that when a show/movie is overhyped (like Kimi No Na Wa was), it ruins the experience for me a bit because I have such high expectations.
You're right however. I didn't find anything special about the movie either, and I had no idea that there was such a huge anticipation for the movie until after I had watched it. So, I didn't have high expectations, and yet, it still didn't leave me in tears. However, it was still a pretty good movie, just not to the extent that people claim it to be. I'd give it a 7, maybe 8 out of 10.

I can say with confidence it's the best looking anime ever released, but I also watched it in theaters so the quality was top notch compared to most streaming sites and whatnot.
Aside from that you already know how I feel about it nii-chan 😊

Meh. That's all I can say I mean the artwork is amazing I have a background of it on my desktop. other than that the ending was pretty shit.
