Wow! Never knew possible was this good. I downloaded it YEARS ago and it seemed like MS Paint when I used it haha! ;) May consider downloading GIMP once again.

When I try to paste my icon onto the userbar, all it does is make a white-lined outline of the image that I'm trying to paste onto the bar. Any way to fix this? (I'm using GIMP 2.8.0)

Have you checked your layers or removed the alpha channel from the image?

I've seen tutorials for Photoshop to make shimmering text, but no GIMP ones. Are there any out there?

Used photoshop on it, but thank you for the userbar and font <3 I designed a whole set of userbars for my clan forum :D
