Stuff happens, feel bad for your partner How's she and the kid?
For the parking, it's just money you'll recover that.

London is known for crimes and I always keep my keys safe in a faraday box but since I was at my partners I didn’t have it. Turns out the local council left a ticket on my car which I didn’t return to within 30 MINUTES. I ended up having to pay £265 GBP ~ $361 USD to recover my new car.

TLDR - my car got seized for a parking ticket where I had only parked for the last 12 hours.

It must be because you have parked in a non parking zone when you are in a hurry.

That sucks to have your car impounded for a parking ticket, I guess you'll pay better attention next time. Also I hope the birth of your child went well.

Because they have a baby. So if she doesn't with a baby my honest thought is she's being a weirdo. I thought you wanted to get back to the family unit?

I do support it. I was just messing with you.

Here I am showing my conservative side. But I was married until death did us part so I guess I had it lucky that he wasn't some ass I wanted to leave I suppose. I don't know why if we could get through all the sh*t we did together so many other couples can't stick it out though and make a commitment when they have a damn baby. We got engaged and married two years before we conceived a child and when we got engaged all these assholes kept asking if I was pregnant. Wtf? So rude. And we were like "no we just....you know....love each other." And the response was confusion. What has the world come to?

LOL. For some reason it flashed in my mind to people that ask large women if they're pregnant.

Yeah I do think that family units are the building block of Western civilization, or any civilization for that matter.

It's good that it was not stolen and you managed to recover for $361

How is you wife and has she given birth? If yes, I wish baby and mother are fine and healthy. It will be good if you update us on this.

I had the same thing happen to me in college, well similar. Had my car parked in an area where they needed to plow on a main street. Impounded.
