More will come with time. The game hasn't been out that long and a game like that these days it's more important to ensure that balance is a thing... so I kind of get why they don't have a ton of civs to play as.
Given what I've seen surrounding AOE2 definitive edition and their support for that, expect new civs to be released for sure.

a good game, but i prefer the III cause the story mode is better and have decent gameplay

AOE2 was the best for me, I tried 3 and hated it. I tried aoe4 and it was okay just not what I was expecting.

I use to play this game couple years back. Are there any free AOE on Google Playstore or AppStore?

I got it for the nostalgia. It plays like the older games, which is good. Better than the AoE 3 crap. I just can't get into it much like I used to as IT PLAYS LIKE AoE 2! 🤣

Used to love AOE 1 / 2 back in the 90s. Was great playing them online on MS Gamezone (?) I think it was called that.
Definitely going to look at the more up to date versions and see what they're like. Hope I'm not disappointed.
