What do you think of Age of Empires IV?
I've been a little hyped for AOE4 for a long time, but due to work, I haven't had time to play it yet.
I'm thinking about buying it next week when I get some more free time.
Is AOE4 worth its price tag?
I have not played it myself, however, I did see a couple of Youtubers play it and their impression of it was pretty good! You should check it out there as well!
Looks kinda cool from what I've seen but the games seem to last forever
Not sure if I can play for that long, I'll lose my mojo
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS MEMBER
I played Age of Empires a lot as a kid, it’s a great game I can only imagine what they’re doing with it now.

Okay so I actually ended up buying the game and I now have 50-ish hours of playtime.
AOE4 has all the same mechanics as AOE3, so if you were a fan of AOE3 then you have no problem jumping right into AOE4.
The game is awesome for what it is - just another Age of Empire game. But they didn't add anything new other than a pretty good campaign and better graphics.
I'm giving it a solid 7/10.

I feel like I've gotten so used to Starcraft that making the switch between the two is gonna have me pressing all sorts of keys lol
Might give it a go though, I haven't played AOE since number 2 I think, still got the box somewhere in my house
Might get the game soon. I have played all the AOE games and their respective expansions when I was a kid.
Fucking love AOE games.
Though it's cold and lonely in the deep dark night.
I can see paradise by the dashboard light.

Haha, I know what you mean! It'll probably only take a few hours to get used to the keybindings.

fugging love AOE games.
If you're a fan of the series then I totally recommend AOE4. You won't regret buying it! 🙂
i usually play with friends, game is good but civilisations and maps are very limited.
Btw if you play against bots the AI always attacks at the beginning which in online would never happen
Just got AOE4 through Xbox game pass, and it's awesome.
I'm currently playing the campaign (year 1106~) in easy mode, but I'm still having difficulties with winning battles.
I think that I'm just trying to rush too hard, I need to take my time.
AOE2 is the best, all the other versions are ******

AOE2 is pretty good. What do you like about AOE2 that aren't in the other games?
I will check AOE4 out, I've played 1&2&3 and loved them all.
It's a really fun game to play with or against friends like Battle For Middle Earth and Red Alert.

If you enjoyed the prior games, then you'll definitely enjoy AOE4 too :)
AOE does indeed gives the same good vibe as BFME and Red Alert! Good old times.
Really wish there was a few other nationalities you could play as. Love destroying my friends as the Mongolians.
