RE: Question About Recent Warning Policy - DramaKing - Oct 21, 2025 I fully support staff giving warnings when someone uses one long runon sentence or all caps or the post is otherwise too confusing to understand. Missing a punctuation mark or misspelling something (even with autocorrect and spelling checkers) seems to go with the territory. Make it public for everyone hahaha RE: Question About Recent Warning Policy - Lowkey - Oct 21, 2025 This is actually the most ridiculous thing I think I've ever seen on hack forums. You might as well require double spaced'!?':;- MLA format:"()written in times new Roman Absolutely a psychotic episode to expect punctuation and grammatically sound structure on checks notes The Internet..? RE: Question About Recent Warning Policy - jcole - Oct 21, 2025 Who cares how someone types? It's a fucking internet forum board. There are people of all nationalities on this website. I've already heard about @The Pact@ being excessive in her warnings. I don't think she should be a staff member, but that's my personal preference. Give staff back to Bastille or let Lowkey have a shot at it. Both those members I referenced are active, engaging, knowledgeable, and have been around the forum for a long time. @The Pact@ is engaging, but not in the right way. She is a libtard who lived in the SRPP section. I don't really care what Omniscient does, because this is his website. Out of the time I've been here, him making her staff was the only decision he's made that I actually questioned the why behind. I have decided to collaborate with @The Pact@ That's actually genius. Showing up with a solution the moment a problem appears 🤣 Nice one. Also, I feel a bit lucky that I didn't get warned after so many posts this month. Learners typically encounter capitalization rules, especially starting sentences with capital letters, very early in ESL instruction, often within the first week of beginner-level coursework. It helps learners recognize sentence boundaries, which is crucial for reading comprehension and writing clarity. Anyway the insinuations that I gave warnings for any other kind of grammar issue are untrue. For some reason you called me a libtard. But also, you accuse me of not being woke enough about all the diversity here? 🤣 As I said earlier, I will be giving fewer Posting Etiquette warnings. RE: Question About Recent Warning Policy - 7 - Oct 21, 2025 Now just regionalization, punctuation, and spelling. I know the regional recognition is off right now; that's because it's reading who you're replying to as well. Anyway, Where there is a problem, there is always a solution. So, welcome to Anti-Pact. I'm going to purposely make spelling mistakes while typing this out and not look at any grammar issues or spelling issues to make sure the plugin works. I will also type names of countries like America and the United Kingdom and see if it fixes them all... Welcome to Anti-Pact, the future. ![]() Once I have finished testing with other AI support, I will release this for free to the community. It's going to save a lot of future warnings, and I like to think it solves the concern of the original poster. I also need it to stop messing with BB code. Thank you to The Pact for the inspiration to build this for the future of Hackforums. RE: Question About Recent Warning Policy - Omniscient - Oct 21, 2025 This has been an interesting thread. I had no choice but to give The Pact the Grammar Nazi award. |
