Large corporations do not care about their employees. It is all about money and greed. It is understandable when small businesses lay off a couple of people to survive, but those billion dollar entities should do better and take some responsibility.

I found this quite interesting. Cisco is claiming that the job cuts are a result of the company's desire to restructure and apply new focus to AI related development as well as a few other sectors. I can't help but wonder though, how truthful is that? Anyone with a brain can see that AI is a very big deal and is likely to replace thousands upon thousands of job/career types around the globe. What are your thoughts?
I think the companies are run by greedy Idiots. I don't think AI is going to replace people. We will have a shitshow mark my words a world economical collapse and it's not due to the economy. It's due to companies runned by stupid greedy people that will cause this. They been drooling all this time to not having to pay for people to do work.
Here's is what is going to happen. In the future they want you to go to college for a profession then come out with 5 years of work experience. Who know how you will get that work experience but jobs now are nothing but management jobs. You will tell the AI to do your work and you will check it's work if it's correct or not. All it takes is a hacker to mess with the software and database and the whole company will be lost because we no longer are doing the work. Instead we all will be rusty with our work that we won't know how to do the actual work but only know how to check he work.
Right now I got a college degree in accounting and finance and just got my enroll agent license to do peoples taxes. No one wants to hire me. Everyone acts as if I don't know what I am doing. I mean I have a university to vounce for me and the IRS.
There was a guy online that was looking for someone to do his taxes for his rentals. He wanted someone experienced with a CPA license and is willing to pay only $40.
I mean the way the public treats the accountants it's not going to end well for everyone. Financial statements are now being made by hobos from the street that they personally know. Financials no longer can be relied on. Online many accountants and CPA's are over worked because they get new clients every month because they thought accounting was easy until they get a notice from the IRS or they get a business loan rejected because their financials are done incorrectly
They now have AI doing it and firms are using it. They cut the staff and the people that remain are overloaded with work because the AI isn't doing some of the things correctly so they have to to a higher work load to just fix the mistakes.
I think the future jobs are nothing but experienced people working like a manager where you tell the AI what to do and check it's work. We no longer are doing the actual work.

What am I supposed to do? I just get people yelling at me that I am lazy. I can't get any job because everyone wants experience.
I applied to 2 internships and hope I am good enough for them.
