Chargen has proven to take down few free hosting like Hostinger.
Eg: XYZ.hol.es ( Just a free Hostinger Hosting example )

Chargen is just a service that runs off of UDP....
It take down those hosting websites because it travels within layer 4....
Jesus christ do u not understand that l7 is application level and l4 is udp/tcp traffic level?

Pretty helpful. I finally learned the difference between layer-4 and layer-7 attacks. Would like to know more in depth about the the different layer 4 and layer 7 attacks tho. Would be a great addition to this tutorial.
