RE: [animals]Kill or dont kill - Macbook - Apr 26, 2020

Giving them away would be viable. Better than the other options.

RE: [animals]Kill or dont kill - Ombra - Apr 26, 2020

Killing them isn't an issue, but people from Countries that do not eat rabbits / love animals will certainly tell you not to do so.

imho if you're able to get them cleaned/cooked after killing, you're fine doing so.

If you are going to kill them, do it in a way that is painless for the rabbit and don't do it infront of the other rabbits mate. Maybe some kind of electric bolt which they use to kill pigs instantly. Probaly the most humane way.

I agree with this - minimise the suffering would be the most humane way

Break their neck, that's how it has always been done. Cook it with mustard, and boom a delicious meal.

RE: [animals]Kill or dont kill - shitmaster - Apr 26, 2020

I'd say eat them if you are not attached to them. My grandparents used to keep rabbits, chickens, and turkeys as livestock. It's not wrong or unethical to eat them. Just make sure you kill them fast and don't let them suffer.

If you make them suffer, it'll fall under animal abuse.

This thread seemed so dark at first glance but it is what it is.

Kill them and make some dinner, I heard rabbit is pretty good haha

RE: [animals]Kill or dont kill - humanbody - Apr 26, 2020

My friend has rabbit farm. To be honest the only way they killed rabbits was when they wanted to eat rabbit meat. Other than that no. So if you really want to eat rabbit meat then go for it else I don't see the point of killing it without any purpose.
