If you need the food for your family etc, then yes kill and eat them. Natural chain of events.

However if you don't need to eat them but still want to try one, kill one and giveaway 5 to kids in the neighborhood.
I'm sure it wouldn't be hard finding some youngin's to take them off your hands.
bugga told me I'm a cutie

The rabbits behind the fence are relatively safe, unless a deep economic crisis. Ia a crisis scenario my neighbors will came here and take them out.

The 3 outside are going to die when they will be big enough.
just buy some meat from the grocery store and keep the animals as pets
Hahaha! He wanted to eat rabbit! Don't eat rabbit! I urge you!
I'm not against hunting at all. It's just not something I exactly find interest in. I have no issues with it though.

It is hard to find some young people here around, there are no children.

They multiply exponentially that is the problem. I started with 2 animals: one male and one female of course. In the first 2 years they did children but their children die soon. No one new rabbit survived. I was told that it would be impossible to have new little rabbits without some drugs.

After 3 years they stopped to die, they do not die anymore thus i am going to be full of animals.

Rabbits in Australia - Wikipedia

Quote:The rabbits were extremely prolific creatures and spread rapidly across the southern parts of the country. Australia had ideal conditions for a rabbit population explosion. With mild winters, rabbits were able to breed the entire year. With widespread farming, areas that might otherwise have been scrub or woodlands were instead turned into vast areas with low vegetation, creating ideal habitats for rabbits.

In a classic example of unintended consequences, rabbits had become so prevalent within ten years of their introduction in 1859 that two million could be shot or trapped annually without having any noticeable effect on the population. It was the fastest spread ever recorded of any mammal anywhere in the world. Today, rabbits are entrenched in the southern and central areas of the country, with scattered populations in the northern deserts.

I am not in australia but it can happen here as well
Tbh it's the same as buying dead food. If you can do it painless..

Eating your own animal is better than buy,

nowadays the meat you eat all is really bad.

I love animals but I recommend to kill and eat them if you have to buy meat.

I learn quickly. My father was a hunter, i have seen him cut and transform an animal into food. It is quite easy, all you need is a sharp knife, a suitable place with water, a rope and hook. That's all.

My wife helps me sometimes.
Make sure they die fast, so it doesn't hurt. Sell them/eat them if you're getting way too many animals.
You could sell them or kill them, no hard feelings this happens all the time.

A side effect of coronavirus. There are no people around walking, talking ecc

Crows came near houses and eat little rabbits.
