OllyDbg label expected? - shaggy989 - Jun 29, 2011 Hey all I am reading up on reversing and what not... as i was going through this tutorial I came across a part that wants me 2 add a "code cave" as it was stated in the tut. When i go to write the code [MOV ECX,hookme.00404500] I get an error in the assembler saying "label expected". I am very new to all this and I'm trying to learn it as best i can. Cant find any help on google or the such. Thanks for any help * - bottomy - Jun 30, 2011 I haven't used OllyDbg in quite some time, but I think you need to remove the "hookme.". So just enter "mov ecx,00404500". * - PoZHx - Jun 30, 2011 Remove PDB so you don't get symbols then you won't need to worry about symbol names. * - shaggy989 - Jun 30, 2011 Thanks for the help. You were rite all i had to do was remove the hookme part and just have the va address. I guess i honestly need to do some research on assembly. |
