Hey all I am reading up on reversing and what not... as i was going through this tutorial I came across a part that wants me 2 add a "code cave" as it was stated in the tut. When i go to write the code
[MOV ECX,hookme.00404500] I get an error in the assembler saying "label expected". I am very new to all this and I'm trying to learn it as best i can. Cant find any help on google or the such. Thanks for any help

I haven't used OllyDbg in quite some time, but I think you need to remove the "hookme.". So just enter "mov ecx,00404500".

Remove PDB so you don't get symbols then you won't need to worry about symbol names.

Thanks for the help. You were rite all i had to do was remove the hookme part and just have the va address. I guess i honestly need to do some research on assembly.
