A little java popup reminder. - Riverthief - Dec 14, 2009 I reckon that a little java message box appearing when you go to /subscribe.php that says "HFL337 is not instant. They have to be reviewed manually. Please be patient." would be a great idea. It would stop the 5-6 threads a day saying "HFL337 WTF??? WHERE IS IT????", and would save mod's time. Even though it's not that much of a bother. Discuss 🤝 * - Paradoxum - Dec 14, 2009 I agree. This would somehow lessen the "HFL337 WTF???" threads in this section. 🙂 * - ΜagicSpeed™ - Dec 14, 2009 A good idea indeed. * - Madafaka - Dec 14, 2009 great idea . support :) * - moofiee - Dec 14, 2009 I support this idea. * - N3w_2_H@Ck1n™ - Dec 14, 2009 I like it cause I'm sick of those threads lol. * - Riverthief - Dec 14, 2009 Glad you all like it :) Hopefully this or something similar gets put into effect * - iBruteforce - Dec 14, 2009 Or perhaps it can be written on /subscribe.php in bold lettering. * - Vorfin - Dec 14, 2009 (Dec 14, 2009 08:42 AM)iBruteforce Wrote: Or perhaps it can be written on /subscribe.php in bold lettering. lol, people wont read it, even a popup, people will just click away without reading. Remember Internet Rule #1 : 99% of people are idiots. * - Theref - Dec 14, 2009 (Dec 14, 2009 08:42 AM)iBruteforce Wrote: Or perhaps it can be written on /subscribe.php in bold lettering. Maybe both, or plus a whole page for it. Im sure ppl will notice it * - Omniscient - Dec 14, 2009 I don't entirely mind since it probably brings more exposure to upgrading in general. * - Kewlhotrod - Dec 14, 2009 (Dec 14, 2009 09:22 AM)Vorfin Wrote: lol, people wont read it, even a popup, people will just click away without reading. Remember Internet Rule #1 : 99% of people are idiots. Code the javascript to not allow anyone to perss the "Okay" button for 5 seconds or so. Also, make the message short, simple and sweet. No moer than two sentences. It'll get the point across. * - Riverthief - Dec 14, 2009 (Dec 14, 2009 06:04 PM)kewlhotrod Wrote: Code the javascript to not allow anyone to perss the "Okay" button for 5 seconds or so. I didn't even think of that. I guess it does advertise HF leet more. * - icyyy - Dec 15, 2009 (Dec 14, 2009 06:33 PM)PaNiK Wrote: How about haha that would be good. ( just add that no one should make threads about HF 1337 being late) |
