~~~{Tutorial] How to make HIDDEN YouTube videos! Embeded on your site! - tylergtylerg - Mar 11, 2012 Ok, So You can make a youtube video play on your site, Getting you HIDDEN views, without them Ever knowing! Here's an example: (Heres one on my domain..) http://bio-craft.com/?p=63 Code Let's break this down, This is the old embed code, This worked on my site, And it will work for you! This sets the Object to 1 pixel tall and 1 pixel wide, Invisible! Code This states the object name and grabs the video. Code Basic Youtube codes. Code This is where all the magic happens. Code From the above, Now, To make the video autoplay, You need to add at the end of the url: "&autoplay=1" Code embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/LlyJuxjUm1c?version=3&hl=en_US&autoplay=1"The height and width from the above embedded code Needs to be 1,1 Code width="1" height="1"Now to close up the object. Code You can do this with any youtube video! Sorry If this is newbish, Trying to help anyone out. Here's another one I've made * - Breakbeat Junkie - Mar 11, 2012 Looks like a good guide, keep it up! 🤝 ~Magic * - tylergtylerg - Mar 11, 2012 (Mar 11, 2012 02:12 PM)Mag¡c Wrote: Looks like a good guide, keep it up! It does look good, and simple to do, therefore it looks like it's a good guide. * - tylergtylerg - Mar 11, 2012 (Mar 11, 2012 02:19 PM)Mag¡c Wrote: I'm not using youtube for anything, so no, I didn't read it. Well, Maybe you want some ambient sounds, or a song on your site, Anyways. * - Snoopsy - Mar 11, 2012 Pretty sure I've seen this before, but good non-the-less. What about the volume if you're boosting views though? * - tylergtylerg - Mar 11, 2012 (Mar 11, 2012 02:23 PM)Snoopsy Wrote: Pretty sure I've seen this before, but good non-the-less. I suppose that the user could deal with it, not like they can stop it :3 * - Hook3r - Mar 11, 2012 Erm, I'm pretty sure autoplay doesn't could views anymore.. * - YERANUK - Mar 11, 2012 You should rather use the youtube js api. It allows you to play the video, mute the video.. * - J4mmy - Mar 11, 2012 The only bad side of this is that if you embed the same video to multiple pages, it will restart the video each time page is changed. Other than that, I already knew about this methodology but thanks for sharing! * - tylergtylerg - Mar 12, 2012 (Mar 11, 2012 06:27 PM)J4mmy Wrote: The only bad side of this is that if you embed the same video to multiple pages, it will restart the video each time page is changed. Just to clear things up, I'm not the founder of this, I Just wrote the tut on how to do it in case you wanted music or noises in the background, |
