~~~{Tutorial] How to make HIDDEN YouTube videos! Embeded on your site!
Ok, So You can make a youtube video play on your site, Getting you HIDDEN views, without them Ever knowing! Here's an example:
(Heres one on my domain..) http://bio-craft.com/?p=63
Code
<object width="1" height="1"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/LlyJuxjUm1c?version=3&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/LlyJuxjUm1c?version=3&amp;hl=en_US&amp;autoplay=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="1" height="1" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>
Let's break this down, This is the old embed code, This worked on my site, And it will work for you!
This sets the Object to 1 pixel tall and 1 pixel wide, Invisible!
Code
<object width="1" height="1">
This states the object name and grabs the video.
Code
<param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/LlyJuxjUm1c?version=3&amp;hl=en_US"></param>
Basic Youtube codes.
Code
<param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param>
This is where all the magic happens.
Code
<embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/LlyJuxjUm1c?version=3&amp;hl=en_US&amp;autoplay=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="1" height="1" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed>
From the above,
Now, To make the video autoplay, You need to add at the end of the url:
"&amp;autoplay=1"
Code
embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/LlyJuxjUm1c?version=3&amp;hl=en_US&amp;autoplay=1"
The height and width from the above embedded code
Needs to be 1,1
Code
width="1" height="1"
Now to close up the object.
Code
</object>
You can do this with any youtube video!
Sorry If this is newbish, Trying to help anyone out.
Here's another one I've made
<object width="1" height="1"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/cR2XilcGYOo?version=3&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/cR2XilcGYOo?version=3&amp;hl=en_US&amp;autoplay=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="1" height="1" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>
I'm not using youtube for anything, so no, I didn't read it.
It does look good, and simple to do, therefore it looks like it's a good guide.
Well, Maybe you want some ambient sounds, or a song on your site, Anyways.
Pretty sure I've seen this before, but good non-the-less. What about the volume if you're boosting views though?
June: $68.00
May: $142.41
Hmm.. I suppose that the user could deal with it, not like they can stop it :3
Erm, I'm pretty sure autoplay doesn't could views anymore..
You should rather use the youtube js api.
It allows you to play the video, mute the video..
The only bad side of this is that if you embed the same video to multiple pages, it will restart the video each time page is changed. Other than that, I already knew about this methodology but thanks for sharing!
Just to clear things up, I'm not the founder of this, I Just wrote the tut on how to do it in case you wanted music or noises in the background,
