STOP SCANNING ON VIRUS TOTAL
This is perhaps the worst thing a person could do to a stub, a program, a crypted file, or a new virus! Virus total scans it, analyzes it then passes it on to a team of analysts who spend their time dissecting suspicious files then updating their anti-virus software! It's a bad thing to do! Want to know why? It makes our files become detected, either with false positives or with real positives! BOTH ARE BAD.

And scan your file using these four simple steps!
Step one: Navigate your browser there.

Newer members are BEFUDDLED by the idea of Virustotal.
Lets save our files and our cryptologists the trouble of remaking a stub every day because some smith decides LOLSCANVIRUSTOTAL.

I don't think this can be stopped. There will always be people who scan at virustotal either because they are trolling, or they are just completely fucking stupid. It's just a part of life, and we all have to deal with it. This is why people who are releasing crypters get bitched at because the stub isn't FUD anymore. It's a real shame, but we will just have to deal with it, unless the people releasing them finds a fool-proof way to prevent leechers, virustotal scanners, etc..
