This is perhaps the worst thing a person could do to a stub, a program, a crypted file, or a new virus! Virus total scans it, analyzes it then passes it on to a team of analysts who spend their time dissecting suspicious files then updating their anti-virus software! It's a bad thing to do! Want to know why? It makes our files become detected, either with false positives or with real positives! BOTH ARE BAD.

I don't think this can be stopped. There will always be people who scan at virustotal either because they are trolling, or they are just completely fucking stupid. It's just a part of life, and we all have to deal with it. This is why people who are releasing crypters get bitched at because the stub isn't FUD anymore. It's a real shame, but we will just have to deal with it, unless the people releasing them finds a fool-proof way to prevent leechers, virustotal scanners, etc..
