Little ridiculous don't ya think $6000 of hardware (Nvidia GPU) - Heatzz - Feb 22, 2013 Hey guys don't you think this is a little ridiculous that is about $6000 of hardware.
* - MissingNо. - Feb 22, 2013 I bet on crysis 6 He still can put it on ultra settings. * - t0ks1ck™ - Feb 22, 2013 Probably for bitcoin mining. Or else I dont see why he would have that much Graphic cards. * - Steve Kosh - Feb 22, 2013 (Feb 22, 2013 11:49 AM)t0ks1ck™ Wrote: Probably for bitcoin mining. This was probably just to test out 4 way SLI using Titan. * - Cryptic v7 - Feb 22, 2013 (Feb 22, 2013 11:49 AM)t0ks1ck™ Wrote: Probably for bitcoin mining. I believe the 6850 is the most popular, but I'm not sure. * - Sicarius - Feb 22, 2013 AMD cards= superior for mining. OT: whoever bought all them needs to buy me 1, they must be rich, or just insane. * - DeltaSierra96 - Feb 22, 2013 (Feb 22, 2013 11:49 AM)t0ks1ck™ Wrote: Probably for bitcoin mining. Like the others have said, it's probably just for benching purposes. * - Jire - Feb 22, 2013 NVIDIA cards are better for BitCoin mining. AMD just offers better performance for the price. * - Assume - Feb 22, 2013 (Feb 22, 2013 01:41 PM)Jire Wrote: NVIDIA cards are better for BitCoin mining. A 7970 destroys a 680 and they cost close to the same amount. * - Xycon - Feb 22, 2013 propperly 4 gpu's on loan for quick benchmarks and reviews, then there shipped back to nvidia happends all the time actualy * - Bengali - Feb 22, 2013 GPU bitcoin mining died when someone decided to use ASICs. As for the quad Titans, I believe those belong to Kingpin who was supposed to break the 3Dmark world record. * - Jire - Feb 22, 2013 (Feb 22, 2013 01:44 PM)Assume Wrote: False. It actually provides nearly the same performance with worse specifications. The 7970 just offers the same relative performance for a smaller price tag... the GTX 680 is the fastest single-GPU card in existence, other than the GTX 780, of course :-) I am no fanboy. I like AMD, I like NVIDIA. But NVIDIA has more efficient cards that perform better at the same specifications. AMD offers less efficient cards that perform better at the same price. * - Steve Kosh - Feb 22, 2013 (Feb 22, 2013 01:57 PM)Jire Wrote: Bahahahaha! It takes like 3 680's to equal 1 7970. * - Daylend - Feb 22, 2013 If these were bought... I say let the man have his fun. He obviously can afford it. I'm envious. * - Xycon - Feb 22, 2013 (Feb 22, 2013 01:57 PM)Jire Wrote: Bahahahaha! The GTX 680 is a much more efficient card, and will beat the 7970 under the same specifications.
