40,000$ STARTING A GAMING CAFE | NEED SPECS | - m4dh4ck3r - Mar 16, 2013 I've saved up some money and I'm thinking of Starting up a Gaming Center. The 40,000$ would be spent only on the Computers.I'm looking for ATI Graphics Card build cause I might be using them as Bitcoin mining rigs when I do not have customers.I'm planning to start with 30PC's.I do have extra money for the other stuff. It would be great if you could look up for the prices in Indian Sites. http://www.primeabgb.com/ http://deltapage.com/ 40,000USD is 22,00,000.00 INR I'd like to get ideas on the build alone on this thread . If you have any other ideas please post here : https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=3334003 * - Clark Kent™ - Mar 16, 2013 Damn. You could get a discount off a big deal. Could you give more info about this center? * - m4dh4ck3r - Mar 16, 2013 (Mar 16, 2013 01:37 PM)Clark Kent™ Wrote: Damn. We haven't started yet ! Just trying to get an estimate.. * - supa hot fire - Mar 16, 2013 Well it depends on how much your charging. If you get high end pc's, then you will charge more. Cheap $400 APU builds, you would charge less. * - JavaMachine - Mar 16, 2013 Get some 6800k computers when they come out, cross-fire some higher end computers and charge slightly more to use them. * - Clark Kent™ - Mar 16, 2013 Oh and to boost popularity host LAN parties and tournaments * - BigDomePiece - Mar 16, 2013 (Mar 16, 2013 01:50 PM)Neobdragon Wrote: Get some 6800k computers when they come out, cross-fire some higher end computers and charge slightly more to use them. Do that. ^^ The whole idea is pretty cool. There was a place where i use to live that did the same thing but with consoles.. It was really fun * - m4dh4ck3r - Mar 16, 2013 Just updated the thread ! :) Right now I'm just looking to have the same config for all 30PC's.I'll be adding in Consoles also. * - Bruglione - Mar 16, 2013 I do realy like the Idea about the Mining Bitcoins to earn some extra Cash. Wish you all the best and God bless you, hopefully your IEC will run smooth. Go stick all your Mousepads on your Tables and be carefull about Thiefs ;x * - Brownie - Mar 16, 2013 Investment is kinda huge. OP, gets some ps3's and xbox 360's, there will be more players as well. 30 PC's are lot, start with 5-10, and see how it will go. Price looks standard, Rs100 or so.. Make it as an Internet Cafe also, more income. * - supa hot fire - Mar 16, 2013 People will most likely want lag parties. Maybe make separate rooms with 5 pc's so that way the team can have communication and stuff in a quiet place. Just have like 2 of those and then have public ones. * - N3wb Gamer - Mar 16, 2013 If you want BTC mining machines take a look at this http://www.butterflylabs.com/. Much cheaper to go with this than build a computer * - Jire - Mar 16, 2013 (Mar 16, 2013 01:50 PM)Neobdragon Wrote: Get some 6800k computers when they come out, cross-fire some higher end computers and charge slightly more to use them.Apparently the Kaveri APUs are coming out Q3 this year... I think it's better spent waiting a bit for Kaveri (which are significantly faster than Trinity). Richland is only a rebranding of Trinity IMO and will only feature around 10% stock performance increase but uses less power and gives more flexibility for OCing. * - Tech - Mar 16, 2013 If you contact the manufactures you might get some good prices from buying in bulk since most websites have a limit of how much items you can purchase. * - 0_0_ - Mar 17, 2013 Have you thoroughly thought about this and done your research? I don't think you'll be wanting to buy 30 computers, you'll more likely want around 60, with most being high-end and some for just casual users. Also, you're going to want to buy a lot of xbox/ps3 consoles. Have you thought about furniture costs? rent? peripherals? broadband? |
