TUT REQ Smudge - Mind Glowing - May 10, 2013
Could someone teach me how I could make a smudge piece like this without a pen?

Bascially, just a lot of quick click/strokes with your mouse. That's about it. I suggest turning finger painting on.

Well while waiting on an answer I made something, it's not even close to it, but I don't think it's a disaster. :p Anyways what's finger painting?

You need to practice a lot, no tutorial will help you get your desired outcome alone.

I know but I need some presets for a smudge brush. What do you think of my first attempt? I posted the link in a comment here

most people use 70%-90% strength with the default hard brush
and the size varies depending on what your doing
