Could someone teach me how I could make a smudge piece like this without a pen?

Bascially, just a lot of quick click/strokes with your mouse. That's about it. I suggest turning finger painting on.

You need to practice a lot, no tutorial will help you get your desired outcome alone.

most people use 70%-90% strength with the default hard brush
and the size varies depending on what your doing
hail satan // rip fbn // no shame all game
