[Tutorial] An easy way of obtaining someones IP address using their DNS [Tutorial] - Johnson Licker - Jul 12, 2013 [TuT] - An easy way of obtaining someones IP address using their DNS - [TuT] Hello members of hack forums. Jibbs here. Today I've come across a nice, simple and easy way of obtaining someones IP using their DNS. Now, what is a DNS? It stands for Domain Naming System and it basically turns numerical IP addresses into letters. A service called No-IP supplies free DNS's and is used by a lot of people. A lot of people on here use it for RATs. So let's get started with the tutorial. Obtaining the IP. So, to get someones IP using their DNS is a very easy thing to do. You'll need the victims DNS and cmd. Open up cmd by click start > run > cmd > enter. Type the following command. Code ping (victims DNS)Conclusion. Within a few seconds you will have the IP. Easy and yes you're eyes are fine, there is only 1 step. :3 You can do this persistently until the victim removes the entire DNS entry. This can also be helpful to people out there to want to initiate or prevent DDoS attacks. That's it and I hope everyone enjoyed my tutorial. I know I will help a few people out there. Have a good one, Jibbs. * - samrokzz - Jul 12, 2013 What the ** is this , what do you mean by this ?? ?? ?? * - Johnson Licker - Jul 12, 2013 (Jul 12, 2013 08:24 AM)samrokzz Wrote: What the ** is this , what do you mean by this ?? ?? ?? What? It's obviously a tutorial I wrote help out members. * - ProblemSolva - Jul 13, 2013 And how do u get their dns ? Or are u talking here about webservers * - fr33mon - Jul 13, 2013 I assume this does not work with cloudflare, hidden ip's? * - SIM-1380886 - Jul 13, 2013 I think you missed the point of where you will explain how to obtain a DNS. Nice tutorial anyway * - A_Normal_Username - Jul 13, 2013 Nice thread OP, better than the "how 2 use ip logger!" threads. Most people would go for Skype Resolving or that BVOG. * - Johnson Licker - Jul 18, 2013 (Jul 18, 2013 04:20 AM)CillyCunt Wrote: HQ Tutorial. Thanks man, and Skype resolving is now patched, isn't it? :\ Anyway, this method may be hard to obtain the victims DNS but once you do the IP is one step away at all times. Until they completely delete the DNS, but I doubt the person will know how the attacker is getting their IP. * - nyxx - Jul 21, 2013 Gee thanks man I always wanted to know how to use the ping command. Is this some new found exploit? Crazy. * - Johnson Licker - Jul 21, 2013 (Jul 21, 2013 06:39 AM)nyxx Wrote: Gee thanks man I always wanted to know how to use the ping command. I'm glad I helped you. :) * - chintanmandexgurjar - Jul 21, 2013 How we will get their dns !!? is there any bullete proof technique..dont say social engineering plz :D * - Johnson Licker - Jul 22, 2013 (Jul 21, 2013 02:08 PM)chintanmandexgurjar Wrote: dont say social engineering plz :D You can use social engineering. :D Or you can also use WireShark, capture network packets, apply a filter and see all of the DNS's that are connecting to you. You can do this if you're infected by a RAT. * - Celeron - Jul 22, 2013 You need their real IP to get their DNS in the first place, what's the point of this? * - webdev77 - Jul 22, 2013 I think you should rename this tutorial "How to ping a domain name". That's really all you are doing. |
