Adding general group color to usernames - Ragnaros - Jul 16, 2013 Currently if you're a regular user you're white, a l33t is yellow and an ub3r is blue. But when you join a group on HF and you change your primary group your name gets white again. I think it's a bit vague to recognize a l33t or ub3r member that's in a group unless you click on their profile. Well, ub3rs have their sapphires, but still I think adding a general color like "red" or something for a group member might be a good idea. Just something I was thinking. * - Morchid - Jul 16, 2013 Removed - I completely misread it . Sorry * - RDCA - Jul 16, 2013 There's no real benefit of this. Just click on their profile, it isn't that hard. (Jul 16, 2013 02:52 PM)Morchid Wrote: 5. Regular Member Features. He's not suggesting anything that falls under that rule. ._. * - Stay Plural - Jul 16, 2013 Nah, I kind of like it white... it fits. * - Kōtei - Jul 16, 2013 (Jul 16, 2013 02:52 PM)Morchid Wrote: 5. Though I do disagree with this one. * - Shoppa - Jul 16, 2013 Nah white is better it would be a mess if every group get his own colour. * - Premortal - Jul 16, 2013 I like it the way it is. It would be annoying if I looked at the bottom of the screen to see who's online and there's a rainbow of usernames. * - Concerned - Jul 16, 2013 I really like the white color that some users have. Like Shoppa said, it would look a mess. * - Ragnaros - Jul 16, 2013 (Jul 16, 2013 02:55 PM)҉҉Shoppa Wrote: Nah white is better it would be a mess if every group get his own colour. No, I mean a general color like "red" that counts for all custom groups, whilst the official groups still remain having their own color. Because I noticed that when somebody picks a custom group as primary their username color gets back to white. So there's only one extra color at the bottom when you look who's online, that'd be for example red. ;) * - Revenge - Jul 16, 2013 I think White keeps it neat looking. I like it how it is. * - Omniscient - Jul 16, 2013 Quote:Currently if you're a regular user you're white, a l33t is yellow and an ub3r is blue. I will not add any special colors to usernames of groups. Quote:No, I mean a general color like "red" that counts for all custom groups Only 2 colors that matter...yellow and blue. Those are the upgraded groups. I had red for the Limited (now removed) group but I no longer use it and don't plan on having red color group names. I try to keep the visual from HF as simple as I can. |
