Anyone else feels like their eyes are being strained when using the modern theme? - ep1capple - Oct 18, 2013 The modern theme is turning out good so far but my eyes feel strained after a while. The colors are too vibrant. * - CyberneticTitan - Oct 18, 2013 Just the username and rep color. If Omni can dim it a little and it shall be fine. * - Omniscient - Oct 18, 2013 (Oct 18, 2013 10:49 PM)epicapple Wrote: The modern theme is turning out good so far but my eyes feel strained after a while. The colors are too vibrant. I'm working on that. I'm forcing myself to use it. I also have 2 monitors and keep the old school theme on one. Trying to gauge as best I can visual appeal and eye strain. The background helped a lot but I may still adjust it a few percent for opacity. I'm working on it and sorry if your eyes are straining right now. Feel free to use Old School theme until this is fully adjusted. * - clark.dll - Oct 18, 2013 (Oct 18, 2013 10:52 PM)Omniscient Wrote: I'm working on that. I'm forcing myself to use it. Keep these changes coming Omni! * - SIM-1349466 - Oct 18, 2013 I switched to the modern theme like an hour ago and love it. I do understand how the colors could be bright to others though. * - v11 - Oct 18, 2013 I don't mind it at all. I think that it flows very nice. * - Clique - Oct 18, 2013 Try using f.lux for the time being. Really helps, especially at night. http://justgetflux.com/ * - `P R O D I G Y™ - Oct 18, 2013 Its still coming along good! Glad to see his reply on here regarding this matter too. :) * - v11 - Oct 18, 2013 (Oct 18, 2013 11:05 PM)Clique Wrote: Try using f.lux for the time being. I am using F.lux. That may be one of the reasons I am not feeling any strain. * - Omniscient - Oct 18, 2013 (Oct 18, 2013 11:05 PM)Clique Wrote: Try using f.lux for the time being. Wow..kind of a neat program. Using it now to see how it does for my own eye strain. Which btw I have plenty of and these past couple years I've had to start wearing glasses to read and increasing my font sizes on the computer to read. I pretty much can't ready anything within 2 feet of my face anymore. :( * - Cryptic™ - Oct 18, 2013 Wow I love the new theme now. Looks amazing. Much better than what it did a few days ago. * - Clique - Oct 18, 2013 I'm pretty sure that there's computer glasses nowadays. http://www.gunnars.com/ eh? * - ep1capple - Oct 18, 2013 Quote:I'm working on that.
