Anyone else feels like their eyes are being strained when using the modern theme?

The modern theme is turning out good so far but my eyes feel strained after a while. The colors are too vibrant.
Just the username and rep color.

If Omni can dim it a little and it shall be fine.

I'm working on that. I'm forcing myself to use it. I also have 2 monitors and keep the old school theme on one. Trying to gauge as best I can visual appeal and eye strain.

The background helped a lot but I may still adjust it a few percent for opacity.

I'm working on it and sorry if your eyes are straining right now. Feel free to use Old School theme until this is fully adjusted.

So far I'm using the new theme and loving it. Keep these changes coming Omni!
I switched to the modern theme like an hour ago and love it. I do understand how the colors could be bright to others though.
I don't mind it at all. I think that it flows very nice.

Try using f.lux for the time being.

Really helps, especially at night.

I am using F.lux. That may be one of the reasons I am not feeling any strain.

Wow..kind of a neat program. Using it now to see how it does for my own eye strain. Which btw I have plenty of and these past couple years I've had to start wearing glasses to read and increasing my font sizes on the computer to read. I pretty much can't ready anything within 2 feet of my face anymore. :(
Wow I love the new theme now. Looks amazing. Much better than what it did a few days ago.
I'm pretty sure that there's computer glasses nowadays.
