Update it, then restart your PC. Should work. * - daveyman123 - Jan 26, 2014 (Jan 26, 2014 07:10 PM)Komodo Wrote: Looks like you are missing the Wi-Fi Driver. Even if i downloaded the kernel then i wouldnt know what to do with it once i downloaded it, being that im very new to linux * - Komodo - Jan 26, 2014 Would not know how hard it would be to load modules on RPI. If you have Ubuntu problems ask away :). Sorry i do not know anything about RPI. * - daveyman123 - Jan 26, 2014 (Jan 26, 2014 09:33 PM)Komodo Wrote: Would not know how hard it would be to load modules on RPI. Sorry i do not know anything about RPI. if it were ubuntu and you were looking at the kernel source page like this one https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/tree/rpi-3.6.y how would you go about getting the kernel headers in a certain folder so your device driver can use it? Ty * - Komodo - Jan 26, 2014 I would download it using the Terminal, then it would decompress it. Also if you would like to get assistance on this further for strictly RPI, post it in the Linux section --> https://hackforums.net/forumdisplay.php?fid=85. * - daveyman123 - Jan 26, 2014 (Jan 26, 2014 09:42 PM)Komodo Wrote: I would download it using the Terminal, then it would decompress it. do i need to compile the download? and should i download the whole thing? * - Komodo - Jan 26, 2014 No idea how RPI works once again. Post this same thread in the Linux Section i posted up there. |
