Mentor Group - Omniscient - May 6, 2010 I was thinking about starting a new usergroup for HF Mentors. These would be people that would pass a test about rules and policies of HF. This imho would cut down on the spam and repeated posts in that area. The group would have it's own usergroup image but the color would be same as ub3r as part of requirements would be that you have to be in the ub3r group to apply. An award for Mentor would also be given. The idea is that these would people would help support staff but not be on staff. Might even be a good pathway to joining staff. Most of the problems with selecting potential staff members is finding out who actually understands policies and rules. Any opinions on this idea? My vote is yes. :) * - Omniscient - May 6, 2010 Yeah could be something like a Veterans group but really it would serve a more profound purpose and have direction versus just simply handed out to people that have been here a long time. This would be more about knowing all the rules and understanding site policies. I'd have actual criteria and a test to join this group. * - Braco Asshole - May 6, 2010 Yeah I like the idea, nice thinking Omniscient. * - Sky- - May 6, 2010 This is a great idea and I would love to be a part of it. * - Xch4ng3 - May 6, 2010 I like the idea, it would help ease the load on current staff. Count me in if you ever want people for this. * - bam - May 6, 2010 Seems like a great idea hands down. Hopefully I can join the group. :) * - Forward Slash - May 6, 2010 (May 6, 2010 02:40 PM)Omniscient Wrote: Yeah could be something like a Veterans group but really it would serve a more profound purpose and have direction versus just simply handed out to people that have been here a long time. And I like that user image. * - Widow's Peak - May 6, 2010 Great idea and great userbar. I'd like to do it too. * - xTiNgUiSh - May 6, 2010 I agree that it should be open for HF originals, I think it is a great idea. * - Taserz - May 6, 2010 Wasn't this suggested like in 2008. But Yeah love the idea. When can I join also how? Also where did you get your avatar omni. * - Shinkirou - May 6, 2010 I like the idea as well, and if it gets implemented I'll be sure to apply. * - Taserz - May 6, 2010 Maybe make it so user only x months or years old can apply for it or something aswell. srry for crappy post typing up a lab report. * - Momiji - May 6, 2010 I think this is a great idea, should really help some new users and others that need a "reminder" on what the rules are.
