Items not sold on HF but not Copyright/patented - Tyler777 - Feb 26, 2014 I have a question pertaining to software that does not have a patent or copyright that is sold on another website for obscene amounts. I have the SOURCE code for said program am I able to post it on here? or Can I only post information on how it works or create my own software based on how it works? * - Wheezy Gang - Feb 26, 2014 To my knowledge, technically speaking if it is not copyrighted you can take the exact coding and everything, change the name and colour of the program so to say, and sell it as yours. * - Tyler777 - Feb 26, 2014 (Feb 26, 2014 05:29 PM)~Tom~ Wrote: You're a typical skid. Fuck off. Don't sell it.I was not going to sell shit. I was just going to post the source code. I received. * - SIM-1676753 - Feb 26, 2014 I'd get consent from the original seller and then post it. If the original seller says no, then I wouldn't. * - xhflhkeuhwguu34 - Feb 26, 2014 Quote:Product Keys and Unlicensed Software Because there's no written copyright doesn't mean it's free for the taking. Regardless, it might fall under that. * - Aura 2.0 - Feb 26, 2014 Personally I'm against the use of someone elses code in any way shape or form without their consent but I think it is important that you know that;

I have looked through the code and there are only "//this is what this does" tags it has nothing saying "who coded it" or anything like programmers usually stick at the top of every source file. No you may not post the source here. That's leaking. |
