General Introduction:

This recruitment will be targeted solely towards developers. We have some job openings in the product line and would also like to have more developers within the group. We will be adding a few members and giving them the option of just being a member in the group, or being apart of the product line team, working on projects here on HF and/or off-site for a share of the profits. If you are interested, feel free to apply.

We are looking for programmers and designers, preferably people who know multiple programming languages, specifically non-dependent languages and web development.

The last Recruitment Thread can be located here. This recruitment thread will last a few days.

Good luck to everybody applying, this is easily the best group I've ever been in.
Like Tibit said, try to stand out. The best way to do that in my opinion is to incorporate your skills into your application somehow. Maybe create a quick game or quiz that can be used as your application, or create a website.

EDIT: My online portfolio (under construction still) http://fadegraphics.net/

Going to keep this short and sweet.

Name: Alec

Age: 16

Gender: Male

State/Country: Indiana - USA

Time Zone: CST

Explain, with detailed examples, what your skills are: I'm a self-taught designer with over 3 years of experience under my belt. From my years of experience, I have recently founded/co-developed a new designing/development team in which we specialize in iPhone/Android Applications, graphic design and website development for personal/corporate use (you can view the teams website here: http://incentivegames.co.uk/ for proof). I take web design classes in school, along with teaching myself new things with online tutorials and such.

Why do you personally feel you deserve to and should be chosen?: I believe I should be chosen into The Empire because of my hard work and dedication to anything that I work on. I'm currently running 5 projects: my own graphics shop, designing for IncentiveGames, running my BTC Exchange Service, doing giveaways on HF, and creating a full CPA/PPD website that offers BTC payouts, all while juggling real life responsibilities like a job, visiting with family, friends, and my girlfriend. Although this does keep me busy, it has shaped me into a hard worker and there is no doubt I give anything less while working with The Empire. I love learning, so if I were to be accepted I could share my knowledge, along with take in others knowledge in the sub-forum.

In one to three paragraphs, tell us a little bit about yourself and your previous works, show some examples as well: I feel like these questions are repeating themselves so I will not explain everything again, but I will link some of my work in a spoiler below.
Spoiler (Click to View)

Anything else you would like to say: This is about all I have to say other than thanks for the opportunity to join The Empire. Thanks for considering my application and good luck to anyone else applying.

* - Tusik - Jun 3, 2014

Name: Preston T. (PM for website)

Age: 21

Gender: Male

State/Country: Texas, USA

Time Zone: CST

Explain, with detailed examples, what your skills are: Coding Skills/Things I have worked with - Ember.js, SendGrid, Twilio, Iron.io MQ, AWS EC2, AWS S3, AWS ElastiCache, Algolia, AWS RDS, Zendesk API, MailChimp, Stripe API, Dwolla API, Paypal API, Javascript, PHP, Loggly, New Relic, Coinbase API, Balanced Payments, Facebook API, Google Analytics, Google Plus API, Node.js, DigiCert, NPM, Grunt.js, Git(Bitbucket and Github), PhpStorm, Emblem javascript templates, C++, Java, HTML, CSS, and several other things.

Why do you personally feel you deserve to and should be chosen?: I have been apart of these forums for a long while and I know a lot about code development and business startups. I have launched a business of my own. This business has been in stealth since Jan 2013 and we just released it publicly late march 2014. I have spent 2000+ hours into this project. The website is https://www.4virtuals.com.

In one to three paragraphs, tell us a little bit about yourself and your previous works, show some examples as well: I was top 3% of my high school class and now I'm a senior in college. In high school I had a business that sold modifications for games that profiled ~45k in a short period of time before I had to refocus on school work. The whole reason for my business now is because of the business I had in high school. People still try to sell their programs, plugins, graphics, and any other virtual goods on forums just by using something like Skype. Something needs to change here.

Anything else you would like to say: Don't want to brag but 2000+ hours of work = 90k lines of developed code + 500k plus in libraries.

Let me know if you need more information from me.

Why do you personally feel you deserve to and should be chosen?:
I definitely have lot of knowledge, I know with clients and how to fit their needs. I respect deadlines and working timeframes. Generally, I can fit as a good worker and be of use.

In one to three paragraphs, tell us a little bit about yourself and your previous works, show some examples as well:

Since I played Aladin on Amiga computer first time (this was more then a 15 years ago), I felt in love with computers, and here I am. I don't wear glasses even I am in front of the computer since then.
On examples I fail. First, I wouldn't like to show my works in public, and second thing is that I didn't worked on many projects from scratch, more debugging, helping, fixing and similar.
Anything else you would like to say:

I've just finished my lunch and coffee so I think I am going to take a nap now.
