Rat Client isnt connecting - mimi86uk - Jun 30, 2014 I'm testing it while ratting myself. When i set the DNS/IP to my internal IP or 127.0.0.1, it works fine, but when i try using an external IP or Internal IP via No-ip, it fails to connect. Very strange. Anyone else have a clue what could have caused this? * - Jacywashere13 - Jun 30, 2014 Are you port forwarded correctly? When you are using your local ip you do not need to port forward. * - Pнож - Jun 30, 2014 Your an idiot.... http://www.noip.com/blog/ * - mimi86uk - Jun 30, 2014 Well I was told with the vpn im using i shouldnt need to portforward because all ports our open. But i did port forward and still got the same outcome :-( * - Programming - Jun 30, 2014 (Jun 30, 2014 10:26 PM)Phox Wrote: Your an idiot.... http://www.noip.com/blog/ He's not an idiot, he just hasn't heard. Calm down, not everyone spends 9 hours a day on HF. * - koshka1 - Jun 30, 2014 Don't use no-ip as your dynamic dns provider, they've had a huge crackdown on people using their service for exactly what you're doing. * - mimi86uk - Jun 30, 2014 WORD!!! Its the first time im hearin this!! Well i have tested it without no-ip, just with my external ip and still no dice. * - Mercury - Jun 30, 2014 (Jun 30, 2014 10:26 PM)Phox Wrote: Your an idiot.... http://www.noip.com/blog/ You're* I actually didn't know about this either and have been having the same issue. * - Server97 - Jun 30, 2014 You could use your own IP Address if you wasn't planning on spreading. * - koshka1 - Jun 30, 2014 (Jun 30, 2014 10:32 PM)wlansec Wrote: You're* no-ip may or may not be the directly effecting the connection, I'm not a RAT expert, but you might want to go to the RAT sub-forum and ask there. Don't use your own connection or don't reveal your own connection, it's shitting where you eat. * - mimi86uk - Jun 30, 2014 SnoopyKitten - your username is awesome.. But I cant use my own external IP, that doesn't work either. The only thing that works is my internal IP :-( which sucks * - koshka1 - Jun 30, 2014 (Jun 30, 2014 11:16 PM)mimi86uk Wrote: SnoopyKitten - your username is awesome.. Thanks, and you might want to check the ports that you're using as your external IP might not have them open * - mimi86uk - Jun 30, 2014 Well I ran a netstat, and the ports are definitely being listened to by my rat. But I tried to forward them on my router and still no dice. Using a vpn used to work, but recently I dont know, now even that's not working. * - isrlygud - Jul 1, 2014 (Jun 30, 2014 10:26 PM)Phox Wrote: Your an idiot.... http://www.noip.com/blog/ "This morning, Microsoft served a federal court order and seized 22 of our most commonly used domains because they claimed that some of the subdomains have been abused by creators of malware.
