DarkComet Tutorial - Setup & Configuration - Bosto - Jul 21, 2014
Welcome to the DarkComet Tutorial - Setup & Configuration thread.
Read below for the tutorial and if you encounter any problems, private message me or post here.

Applications used/needed :

Free DNS Configuration :
1. Firstly you will need to go to the domain, found here.
2. Secondly you will need to go to the signup page, found here.
3. Thirdly you will need to add a sub-domain after activating your free dns account. ( screenshot )

DarkComet Configuration :
1. Open the DarkComet 5.3.1F application & go to "Darkcomet-RAT" -> "Server Module" -> "Full Editor ( Expert )"
2. Go to the Network Settings tab, and enter your FreeDNS you created earlier. ( screenshot )
3. Do not enable any other settings such as start-up, persistence, etc if you are going to encrypt your virus.
4. Listen onto the port on the DarkComet client that you forwarded through your router or vpn.
5. Build your virus and then spread into the internet!

Port Configuration :
1. Go to this website & find which router you have. ( port forwarding guide )
2. Find your router and have a look at the guide it provides you and port forward the port you wish. ( side note : does not matter what port you use )
3. If you do not have a router that supports port forwarding, you will need to purchase a VPN. ( nvpn.net )

Troubleshooting :
1. If you want to test your server/virus/stub use either Sandboxie, Virtual Environment, or Anubis. If none of these methods work, private message me.
2. If you do not have a port forward supported router and cannot purchase a vpn, I would suggest getting a bot-net or PHP rat.
3. If your remote administration tool does not work, private message me & I'll configure it correctly.

hey man just to clarify this should fix the problem from the stub not opening because my stub with the domain from NO IP- duc
dosent open no more idk why but should this fix the problem?

It May. Try setting up the FreeDNS part and building a stub with that. If it still doesn't work, it may be an issue of Port Forwarding.

NOIP has been proven to been monitored by Microsoft, even with very little slaves. I suggest https://freedns.afraid.org

hey man thanks for the reply! 2 things 1. my ports say its open on canyouseeme.org BUT my local ip keeps changing so i have to keep changing it in my router do you know how to stop it from my local ip changing?
