Annoying virus or something of the sort - 'Ryan - Jul 27, 2014 I am not sure what I did but tabs are constantly opening up with ads and my ad blockers don't even stop it. There are ton's of things that are green and underlined and when I hover over them they give me ads. https://gyazo.com/4289c874d9cda18a2e0011ae9a06f1a7 I have an antivirus and it removed a lot of stuff but it's still happening, any ideas? * - GrandTheftAutoIV - Jul 27, 2014 What have you downloaded recently? Can you go into your programs and files folder thing and screenshot what's in there? * - Borzoi - Jul 27, 2014 I had the same thing, download an adware remover. And an extension cleaner. * - 'Ryan - Jul 27, 2014 (Jul 27, 2014 08:36 PM)GrandTheftAutoIV Wrote: What have you downloaded recently? I deleted all my recent downloads to try and fix the problem. * - 'Cynical - Jul 27, 2014 Have you pirated anything recently? Download adwcleaner and run it. It will automatically restart your computer after it is done cleaning. Post the log here. * - Ishmel - Jul 27, 2014 (Jul 27, 2014 08:41 PM)๖ۣۜRoku Wrote: Have you pirated anything recently? I have disabled those and it is still happening. * - Shinobu - Jul 27, 2014 (Jul 27, 2014 09:31 PM)Aeri Wrote: I have disabled those and it is still happening. I used to have the same problem with an extention, I would disable it and it would still pop up ads and I re-installed Google Chrome and it went away. You can try doing the same and hope that fixes it. * - 'Cynical - Jul 27, 2014 Google Chrome may have been overwritten. As the user above said, you could try to reinstall it. I recommend you do a full malware scan with Malware Anti-Bytes. * - 'Ryan - Jul 27, 2014 Re-installed google but it didn't fix a thing. Actually I just went ahead and cleared all my data and stuff for the past 24 hours on chrome and that fixed it. Thank you to all who have helped me. :) * - 'Cynical - Jul 27, 2014 (Jul 27, 2014 10:03 PM)Aeri Wrote: Re-installed google but it didn't fix a thing. Be sure to do a full scan with malwarebytes. |
