Other user in the forum stating that they used the method but was told to contact the developer. (Indicating that it might be Social engineering)

The method is public. Any person with any info on how Apple deals with iTunes and transactions knows exactly how to do this.

I have been using iDevices for 5 years or so, and I have dealt with lots of problems with iTunes and how it handles money. A simple google search will show hundreds of tuts on how to do this. It's sad, I saw this on day one and I thought others would be able to figure it out too.
Here's a little hint, remember the big lawsuit against apple about in-app purchases? This might point you in the right direction about what they did after that.
