BSOD on Windosw 8.1 Update 1 x64, SPTD 1.86 - killerxknight - Jul 31, 2014 When I installed daemon tools with SPTD 1.86 on restarting I keep getting BSOD before I even get into windows also some other people seem to have the same problem any solutions? http://forum.duplexsecure.com/showthread.php?t=15358 * - King Cin - Jul 31, 2014 BSOD issues go in the Windows section. Which error code are you encountering? * - Aura - Jul 31, 2014 Are you able to boot into Safe Mode ? If so, do it and uninstall DeamonTools and the STPD. If not, go in the Recovery PE (press F8 rapidly on boot, select Recovery Mode) and restore to a point before installing DeamonTools. * - killerxknight - Jul 31, 2014 (Jul 31, 2014 03:14 AM)Aurа Wrote: Are you able to boot into Safe Mode ? Do you have any other virtual imaging/mounting software installed on your computer ? * - killerxknight - Jul 31, 2014 (Jul 31, 2014 04:56 AM)Aurа Wrote: Weird too as I have Windows 8.1, Update 1 64-bits and I have Deamon Tools installed too and it doesn't cause any issues. My bad. 🤦♂ Anyhow, you should be able to disable Windows Defender. Disable it and install Avast! Free Antivirus. If you want a paid antivirus, tell us. 😝 * - killerxknight - Jul 31, 2014 (Jul 31, 2014 05:22 AM)Aurа Wrote: Can you disable it via the Action Center ? Or install another Antivirus too.
