Computer doesn't shutdown - anon5 - Oct 12, 2014 Since a week I got a new keyboard (steelseries apex) and since the day I got it it doesn't shutdown on the normal way by clicking the shut down button. It just shows a black screen but I can still hear it running so I have to shut it down with the power button. I've tried reinstalling the keyboards drivers but I everytime I do this I get a BSOD :DPC_watchdog_violaion. so I'm all out of ideas how to fix this. * - Freebooter - Oct 12, 2014 If there is older or new version of the keyboard driver install it maybe current keyboard driver is buggy. * - anon5 - Oct 12, 2014 (Oct 12, 2014 03:09 AM)Freebooter Wrote: If there is older or new version of the keyboard driver install it maybe current keyboard driver is buggy. I have the newest driver there is. And in my experience steelseries drivers are pretty buggy. * - Freebooter - Oct 12, 2014 Have you try the older driver for the keyboard. * - anon5 - Oct 12, 2014 (Oct 12, 2014 03:38 AM)Freebooter Wrote: Have you try the older driver for the keyboard. can't uninstall the new version because then it BSOD's so I can't install the older one. * - Aura - Oct 12, 2014 What is your computer brand and model and what exact version of Windows are you running ? * - Centuries - Oct 12, 2014 This happened to me when I had a RAT on my computer.
