Computer doesn't shutdown

Since a week I got a new keyboard (steelseries apex) and since the day I got it it doesn't shutdown on the normal way by clicking the shut down button.
It just shows a black screen but I can still hear it running so I have to shut it down with the power button.
I've tried reinstalling the keyboards drivers but I everytime I do this I get a BSOD :DPC_watchdog_violaion.
so I'm all out of ideas how to fix this.
If there is older or new version of the keyboard driver install it maybe current keyboard driver is buggy.

I have the newest driver there is.
And in my experience steelseries drivers are pretty buggy.
Have you try the older driver for the keyboard.

try to plug in another keyboard and then try to shut down your machine
Alright, download and install the following drivers (if it says that you are already running the most recent/upgraded version, don't install them) :

http://download.gigabyte.us/FileList/Dri...series.exe
http://download.gigabyte.us/FileList/Dri...3_w8.1.exe

That might be it, these are your USB 3.0 drivers. What if you try to reinstall them again ? Do you get another BSOD ?
