What font is that perchance? Very nice text, however the background image could be more crisp for such a large image.

* - Chrylix - Dec 26, 2014

Yeah I had to downscale the background, I believe the font was powerchord although I could be wrong. I also used a slight gaussian blur on the background to focus the text.

Well i actualy like it. It's simple not too many effects and stuff. Good job OP. 🤝

Here it is without the blur, tell me what you think!

One I made for another friend.

I should also probably note, imgur drops the resolution on these. That's why they may look pretty bad.

The text doesn't blend in.
I recommend using a adding a bit of colour to the text and giving it a perspective and blend it in with background such have part of the text hidden behind a planet, However for your first go its good and its nice to see you've used some techniques to enhance your work instead od just putting text on an image

Yeah I know, I experimented with gradients and different colours but the client didn't want that so I stuck to his words :) Thanks for the information! 🤝

Will do, thank you very much! 🤝

Try to make it blend more. The text and the background look completely different. Props to you though. It's good for being your first. Try watching some tutorials aswell, maybe start adding textures to your text? :)

Upon first sight my first problem with it is that the text doesn't blend in. I like the font very much (if you could tell me it'd be appreciated ;)) The second one you made for a friend, you should drop the red. Idk man I just think it isn't helping the blend at all. It's pretty friggen good for a first timer though. Other than that, great job.

5/10

It's powerchord, as I said I stuck to what my friends said and how they wanted it as I had no experience :) I didn't think the red looked good either. 🤝

It needs to blend together more.
Try a different font too and add texture to the text

* - Tiger Tooth - Dec 28, 2014

I like the font, however I think it doesn't fit in that good with the background. But I am sure you can improve this in many ways and make it fit to the background. Looks like you've already received plenty of good suggestions that will make it 10/10 you know! :) Good luck!

* - ShallowMega - Dec 28, 2014

Very cool! I think that the lighting needs to match both items though. The background gives it an outside feel and the text gives it an inside feel like there is no sun on it like there is on the background. Hope that made sense, good luck!
