Good job OP. 🤝 Thank you very much good sir. 🤝 One I made for another friend. Spoiler (Click to View) I should also probably note, imgur drops the resolution on these. That's why they may look pretty bad.
The text doesn't blend in.
I recommend using a adding a bit of colour to the text and giving it a perspective and blend it in with background such have part of the text hidden behind a planet, However for your first go its good and its nice to see you've used some techniques to enhance your work instead od just putting text on an image (Dec 27, 2014 09:15 AM)danno99 Wrote: The text doesn't blend in. Yeah I know, I experimented with gradients and different colours but the client didn't want that so I stuck to his words :) Thanks for the information! 🤝 (Dec 27, 2014 09:19 AM)Chrylix Wrote: Yeah I know, I experimented with gradients and different colours but the client didn't want that so I stuck to his words :) Thanks for the information! 🤝 I you want to get into graphic design look at Briefbox it gives you a design brief for you to work on so you can improve your skills and just watch youtube tutorials and look into design trends (Dec 27, 2014 09:21 AM)danno99 Wrote: I you want to get into graphic design look at Briefbox it gives you a design brief for you to work on so you can improve your skills and just watch youtube tutorials and look into design trends Will do, thank you very much! 🤝
Upon first sight my first problem with it is that the text doesn't blend in. I like the font very much (if you could tell me it'd be appreciated ;)) The second one you made for a friend, you should drop the red. Idk man I just think it isn't helping the blend at all. It's pretty friggen good for a first timer though. Other than that, great job.

It's powerchord, as I said I stuck to what my friends said and how they wanted it as I had no experience :) I didn't think the red looked good either. 🤝 |
