[Bored] Give me something to code - itzseanprox - Feb 12, 2015 I want to code something but I don't have any ideas. It has to be something fun and not too complicated, that being said, I do like a challenge! Will help code your projects if you wish. * - Ninja - Feb 12, 2015 Threaded proxy scraper. Its fun to learn using regular expressions if you arent that familiar with it already. * - zeroexp - Feb 12, 2015 Code a application that is mainly used for checking accounts. For instance you input the account name and a list of passwords and the program tries every one until it finds the good password. Code is to work for almost every site. Customizable and stuff ^_^ Use a POST request, NOT a WebBrowser. * - itzseanprox - Feb 12, 2015 (Feb 12, 2015 12:44 PM)Wops Wrote: Code a application that is mainly used for checking accounts. You mean use a http webrequest to send a post? What is the point in trying to find out the password for one user, not knowing if that user even exists for the site? Going to start on that now, I have used regex a lot but this will still be interesting. Thanks * - tyxik - Feb 12, 2015 make a application with a button "Black out this city" #lol * - granger - Feb 12, 2015 (Feb 12, 2015 12:44 PM)Wops Wrote: Code a application that is mainly used for checking accounts. This is what burpsuite is for. You take can stop a request, throw it over to intruder, mark your variables and start the process. Then you can just pipe in username and password lists. Then all you have to do is compare a valid login to an invalid login. If you'd like, I can show you how this works. * - Young Gerald - Feb 12, 2015 Ya just do an account checker that works for any site. * - Odus - Feb 12, 2015 Work your way through this: http://www.dreamincode.net/forums/topic/78802-martyr2s-mega-project-ideas-list/ You'll be occupied for hours on end. * - Hiiro - Feb 12, 2015 Something I was working on but I got bored and never finished it. Image (Click to View) Have it organize chosen file extension types from a directory into new directories. * - itzseanprox - Feb 12, 2015 (Feb 12, 2015 01:42 PM)Austrix Wrote: Something I was working on but I got bored and never finished it. I have been trying to find a something lightweight for a while now. * - Ninja - Feb 13, 2015 Try improving stuff you arent that good at, like scraping, using regular expressions, webrequests, make a file manager, file converter, image editing software (might be too complicated, I dont know how skilled you are), etc. Just look at software you have on your PC and make another (simpler) version of it. * - itzseanprox - Feb 13, 2015 (Feb 12, 2015 07:20 PM)| Hex | Wrote: then it defeats the purpose of wanting to code...... Hex, If you actually read my original post I said I would also help with projects, Austrix said he had a project he never finished, so I was going to add to it...... Why reinvent the wheel? I am currently doing a proxy scrapper, I am a C# developer for a company doing big projects, so I have a very good understanding of the .NET framework. I am going to broaden my knowledge on reflection after the proxy scraper. |
