[Bored] Give me something to code

I want to code something but I don't have any ideas.

It has to be something fun and not too complicated, that being said, I do like a challenge!

Will help code your projects if you wish.
Threaded proxy scraper. Its fun to learn using regular expressions if you arent that familiar with it already.
Code a application that is mainly used for checking accounts. For instance you input the account name and a list of passwords and the program tries every one until it finds the good password.
Code is to work for almost every site. Customizable and stuff ^_^
Use a POST request, NOT a WebBrowser.

So a brute force application, that is too easy. You mean use a http webrequest to send a post?

What is the point in trying to find out the password for one user, not knowing if that user even exists for the site?

I like the idea of a proxy scrapper! Going to start on that now, I have used regex a lot but this will still be interesting.

Thanks
make a application with a button "Black out this city"

Not sure why we would reinvent the wheel here. This is what burpsuite is for. You take can stop a request, throw it over to intruder, mark your variables and start the process. Then you can just pipe in username and password lists. Then all you have to do is compare a valid login to an invalid login.

If you'd like, I can show you how this works.
Ya just do an account checker that works for any site.
Work your way through this: http://www.dreamincode.net/forums/topic/...deas-list/

You'll be occupied for hours on end.
Something I was working on but I got bored and never finished it.

Have it organize chosen file extension types from a directory into new directories.

Looks interesting, do you mind sending me the source?

then it defeats the purpose of wanting to code......

This, also I only wrote the file browsing and the file extension managing;
I hadn't yet to write folder saving and organizing yet.

Make a simple proxy scraper. I have been trying to find a something lightweight for a while now.
Try improving stuff you arent that good at, like scraping, using regular expressions, webrequests, make a file manager, file converter, image editing software (might be too complicated, I dont know how skilled you are), etc. Just look at software you have on your PC and make another (simpler) version of it.

Hex, If you actually read my original post I said I would also help with projects, Austrix said he had a project he never finished, so I was going to add to it...... Why reinvent the wheel?

I am currently doing a proxy scrapper, I am a C# developer for a company doing big projects, so I have a very good understanding of the .NET framework.

I am going to broaden my knowledge on reflection after the proxy scraper.
