Ohayo gozaimasu - SewDough - Jun 5, 2015 Hai peeps. I'm back for a while. Looks like AnimeFAN! FINALLY got its' official group, much excite. Congratulations. How's everyone been? What series are you knee-deep in? Anything super duper important that I missed? (This is mainly addressing the older peeps from this section. Sorry to the new cats!) Also, I'll probably be around for much longer this time, seeing as how I'm moved in with the lady, got a stable job at IBM and all that, so have no fear, SewBae is hurr. <3 * - Happeh - Jun 5, 2015 Ayoo, its SewDough! Thought you had a dream of playing EDM stuff, never took you as one t settle down working at IBM lol. AnimeFAN has its own group and is currently being ran by Tweety, though the name is still mine I believe. Not much else has happened. This section has really died honestly, ask Tweets, I assume the good stuff happens in AF. * - Kina - Jun 5, 2015 AA sucks and AF is just as bad if not worse. At least AA has threads to read. We are doing our best to keep AA Weekly something to be proud of. Ran into a fucking brick wall. Was a very sturdy wall and it hurt. But we may have found a hammer, so hopefully the wall can come down. : ) * - Saitei - Jun 5, 2015 Well, it's not really addressed for me, but I'm watching Nekomonogatari right now. Apart from the airing ones (Owari no seraph, the music anime I always forget). Also, I'm kinda trying to join the group, and I'll try to make this bitch active. * - Angеl - Jun 5, 2015 You seem like an oldfag * - Happeh - Jun 5, 2015 (Jun 5, 2015 04:16 AM)Taіls Wrote: AA sucks and AF is just as bad if not worse. The angry Happeh hammer came down and flung wildly lol. * - Gladly - Jun 5, 2015 AA is a shithole for the most part, AF is 3 people talking about League of Legends for 42 pages in a row. I still think AF has the potential, just lacks the activity and threads considering the amount of members we have. Maybe now that exams are over we'll see some more activity. * - Black Reaper - Jun 5, 2015 (Jun 5, 2015 09:04 AM)Gladly Wrote: AA is a shithole for the most part, AF is 3 people talking about League of Legends for 42 pages in a row. Ya i agree with Gladly, AF has potential we just need to try a little harder. Unlike AA we can easily manage the threads on AF and maintain its quality. * - zyvox - Jun 5, 2015 The issue with AF might be related to the fact that half of AA's more "active" members weren't let in in the first place, and you if look through who got accepted in the thread you only recognize about 30% of the names? Personally I don't use AA too much any more, I do check it every day but there's hardly anything interesting to join in on here, I just use skype/hb for the most part nowadays. Compared to before (lot to do with the AA lounge I guess) where I posted 10-20 times a day * - Peanut Butter - Jun 5, 2015 (Jun 5, 2015 01:53 PM)zyvox Wrote: Compared to before (lot to do with the AA lounge I guess) where I posted 10-20 times a day Still missing that, I think I only posted in the last two threads but it was still nice to read through and post in every once and a while. * - Lyralei - Jun 5, 2015 hello op nice to meet you. * - Chad ThunderCock - Jun 5, 2015 Yo. No entertaining threads latey in the AA section, just recomendation threads every single day. Tried to stir up some arguments but people always get tired in the end. When you have people who don't know how to run a group and connect with its members, lack of activity tends to happen. People are accepted into the group who aren't even known in AA? ha. You were shitposting before and you're still shitposting. You can't postwhore anymore so you left. You can't tell others that you just woke up or ask how everybody is doing. * - Chad ThunderCock - Jun 5, 2015 (Jun 5, 2015 06:01 PM)eiqhtworks Wrote: When you have people who don't know how to run a group and connect with its members, lack of activity tends to happen. Well I have well over 1k posts in Anime section and was here well before the AF was even created (Not to mention that I'm picky when choosing a thread to post on) , I found so many "new" people posting in AA after getting AF that made me wonder how they got the AF badge in first place without ever seeing them before. * - Kina - Jun 5, 2015 (Jun 5, 2015 06:01 PM)eiqhtworks Wrote: When you have people who don't know how to run a group and connect with its members, lack of activity tends to happen. Not to mention the attempt to literally force us into attending AF night when only like half the people are even able to and the other half no one wants to watch the shit that gets put up. Especially when there was a decent amount of people completely against it, but instead of listening barrier just kept trying to argue with us and saying "Tweety said so" but Tweety never said shit to clarify. Barrier just started posting in the threads that you must join or youre kicked. Basically the random idea that barrier somehow was able to kick people just because he organized AF night. |
