Highly Compress Files? - Sahaj - Jun 20, 2015 Is it possible to do so? How? I've really slow internet connection, like 70kb/s download speed. I want to transfer files from my RDP to my PC. So, is it possible to highly compress files? Will really appreciate your help. Thanks. :) * - DJ Winter - Jun 20, 2015 I don't know if this will work but maybe you should try to compress it into a rar, than compress the rar into a rar and so forth. * - Benign - Jun 20, 2015 Compressing an already efficiently compressed file again will actually make it larger so ignore the above. 7zip can do some mad efficient compression on Windows. * - Mr Whiskey - Jun 20, 2015 I used winrar on default settings and got 75% compression on a folder I wanted to send to a friend, I'm sure you can get more out of it by tweaking how hardcore you want it to compress. * - Vaxorr - Jun 21, 2015 You can customize the compression on winter, try playing with the settings and you will find it. * - N0c7urn - Jun 22, 2015 7zip is awesome, would reccomend * - dopepizza - Jun 22, 2015 7-zip is the best one to use. |
