Simple keygen program - Paul Wilson - Jul 13, 2015 Hi guys I finished a simple password generator program (lots already out there I know) that allows the user to generate randomized passwords. It uses the system random function so it's not the best randomness, but it's still passable... (I hope) Maybe some of you can find some use to it Screenshot Spoiler (Click to View) Virus scan Download I no longer have the source code because I did more work on it (moving on to the next stage).... It's very easy though so you can easily decompile or even guess it. Sorry Enjoy! * - Odus - Jul 13, 2015 How come you're taking PMs for the download? I can probably guess the code so from what you said, this isn't actually a keygen since keys follow some sort of pattern. * - +Haze - Jul 13, 2015 OP can I get the source code please? I need a keygen for a RAT I'm coding * - coolerfarmer - Jul 13, 2015 (Jul 13, 2015 10:53 AM)+Haze Wrote: OP can I get the source code please? It is going to be a good RAT. Best RAT on HF 2015. * - Intact - Jul 13, 2015 (Jul 13, 2015 10:54 AM)coolerfarmer Wrote: Wow, your RAT must be really HQ if you need to C&P the keygen part... It sounded like sarcasm to me 😊 <- These icons are awesome lol * - Cammy - Jul 13, 2015 (Jul 13, 2015 10:46 AM)Odus Wrote: this isn't actually a keygen since keys follow some sort of pattern. So not a keygen program but rather a password generator * - Paul Wilson - Jul 13, 2015 (Jul 13, 2015 11:03 AM)jawe Wrote: So not a keygen program but rather a password generator Yes, more like a password maker, indeed. I made this to practice my vb.net skills and as a part of my first big project (can't talk about it here, but that plus keys, cryptography, etc... you can probably guess) It stores it as a variable and I am going to be using it as a keygen, so I labelled it as keygen. rn though it does seem more like a password gen. * - Ninja - Jul 13, 2015 Pretty sure PM for download is against the rules. Also, why PM for download? Also, this is the coding section so give source as well. * - log dot zip - Jul 13, 2015 (Jul 13, 2015 10:46 AM)Odus Wrote: [snip] ...this isn't actually a keygen since keys follow some sort of pattern. Methinks you either miswrote that, or does not understand the concept of keygens. Keygens are based on algorithms, ie. they follow a pattern. This would not be following a very clear pattern. So yes, this is not a keygen in the traditional sense of the word, but for the exact opposite reason of what you explained. PM for link is fine. * - tweety - Jul 13, 2015 Why has this thread not been junked yet? * - Ninja - Jul 13, 2015 Why even release this? What is the point of it? * - Paul Wilson - Jul 13, 2015 (Jul 13, 2015 05:28 PM)Tyranitar Wrote: Why even release this? What is the point of it? Reason? The honest reason is that I want to practice and learn VB.NET and tackle small program subs and functions instead of jumping directly onto a big project I want to take small steps, and this is the first small step. * - +Haze - Jul 13, 2015 Everyone has their stepping stones. Let people learn in peace. Maybe it's not useful for you, but it's helpful for OP for self development and motivation boost. * - Paul Wilson - Jul 14, 2015 (Jul 13, 2015 07:46 PM)+Haze Wrote: Everyone has their stepping stones. Thank you for your kind words BTW I finished a text encryptor (with some help) and am going through all the code to make sure I understand it. |
