Simple keygen program

Hi guys

I finished a simple password generator program (lots already out there I know) that allows the user to generate randomized passwords. It uses the system random function so it's not the best randomness, but it's still passable... (I hope)

Maybe some of you can find some use to it

I no longer have the source code because I did more work on it (moving on to the next stage).... It's very easy though so you can easily decompile or even guess it. Sorry

Enjoy!
How come you're taking PMs for the download? I can probably guess the code so from what you said, this isn't actually a keygen since keys follow some sort of pattern.
OP can I get the source code please? I need a keygen for a RAT I'm coding

Wow, your RAT must be really HQ if you need to C&P the keygen part...

It is going to be a good RAT. Best RAT on HF 2015.

It sounded like sarcasm to me 😊 <- These icons are awesome lol

So not a keygen program but rather a password generator

Yes, more like a password maker, indeed. I made this to practice my vb.net skills and as a part of my first big project (can't talk about it here, but that plus keys, cryptography, etc... you can probably guess)

It stores it as a variable and I am going to be using it as a keygen, so I labelled it as keygen. rn though it does seem more like a password gen.
Pretty sure PM for download is against the rules.
Also, why PM for download?
Also, this is the coding section so give source as well.

Methinks you either miswrote that, or does not understand the concept of keygens.

Keygens are based on algorithms, ie. they follow a pattern.
This would not be following a very clear pattern.

So yes, this is not a keygen in the traditional sense of the word, but for the exact opposite reason of what you explained.

Close. Post to PM is disallowed. PM for link is fine.
Why has this thread not been junked yet?
Why even release this? What is the point of it?

Reason? The honest reason is that I want to practice and learn VB.NET and tackle small program subs and functions instead of jumping directly onto a big project I want to take small steps, and this is the first small step.
Everyone has their stepping stones. Let people learn in peace. Maybe it's not useful for you, but it's helpful for OP for self development and motivation boost.

Thank you for your kind words

BTW I finished a text encryptor (with some help) and am going through all the code to make sure I understand it.
