Why guyz ask for Manufacturer Model Number Mac Address SSID Serial Number to crackwpa - CyberError - Oct 25, 2015 Why guyz ask for Manufacturer,Model Number,Mac Address,SSID,Serial Number,ISP...etc to crack Wpa handshake,, how this help him to crack better Thanks Regard Sahil😁 * - Siktah - Oct 25, 2015 Because some routers and ISPs have default passphrases or known passphrase limits. It narrows down the hunt and enables faster hacking. Not all hacking is pressing a button and waiting. * - Mad76e - Oct 25, 2015 Because of this... https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5000767 Or to be more exact About Injection frames In a perfect world there will be programmers and devs that write drivers for every kind of wireless adapters out there, but that's seldom the case, nor do they develop drivers that supports injection frames, and that's what we need for hacking. Why is injection such a big deal? It's because we're telling the wireless card to preform something it's not made to do.. To lie, to forge, to steal, just to tell something about what injection might do. As I said it's not all wireless cards that hardware nor software support this... Sadly Also depending on router and firmware, it can be vulnerable against some kind of attacks * - CyberError - Oct 27, 2015 thanks mate 😉😉😉 ok but if there someone who explain more better and in detail * - Siktah - Oct 27, 2015 No. Just read it. It's pretty much everything you need to know. * - xyz- - Oct 27, 2015 "In more detail" he said it perfectly * - CyberError - Oct 27, 2015 (Oct 27, 2015 04:24 AM)Siktah Wrote: No. Just read it. Sorry for the argument ...but its not what I want to know..... * - Mad76e - Oct 27, 2015 Sorry for me beeing an arse, but what exactly do you want to know? You can't be more clear. You want to know things like flags etc, indepth RE drivers and such? In that case I promise that you won't find your anwsers here * - PinkPanther - Oct 27, 2015 I helps the cracker narrow down his wordlists. Information gathering is the first thing any hacker learns. It's common knowledge that many ATT customer routers have passwords that are 10 digit numerical. Other routers have a wpa password derived from their mac address, serial number, or a combination of the two. That is why they want to know. |
