This thread is all about spoilers so if you haven't watch Death Note don't read it
-This is strongly my opinion and probably minorities share it, so if you disagree please explain why.

At first his actions had good motive, but then he started getting arrogant, thinking he had to become God.
Then he became not reluctant to killing anyone who was in his way, L being the prime example.

He started off wanting to be noble, but the stress of being hunted down warped his personality and the final outcome.
No doubt the world has certain people it'd be better off with who leave it worse than when they found it, but Light become paranoid and made many people an unnecessary casualty.

N is consequence of the creators' moral obligation to abide by society's norms (Light can't come out on top 'cause he's a killer).

His motive is actually good, I like his personality and I think is the best human villain and is it right to lump him together with the likes of Joker?
