Deny incoming connection to modem? - Lord - Jul 16, 2016 Is there any possible way to drop an incoming connection for the whole network? Like block it from ever fully connecting. I don't have any code to include in this thread as I am not even working on anything. I'm curios about this though as I may work on something involving this in the future. * - 6e756c6c - Jul 17, 2016 (Jul 16, 2016 11:54 PM)That One Random Wrote: Is there any possible way to drop an incoming connection for the whole network? Reject a connection at the modem? The only way I can see this working is if you use UPnP to add an entry for the incoming connections desired port and null route it to localhost or something. * - BahNahNah - Jul 17, 2016 Idea off the top of my head, probaby wont work: Setup a switch and set the gateway to your computer. Make a program to handle the connections and make your a computer a functioning gateway and forward the connections/data to the router. Analyze the gateway connections. If you want to block a client, dont forward it to the router. |
