Intriguing Animes to Watch this Season - Kyrus - Aug 11, 2016
Before you read this thread, my favorite anime of all time was Mirai Nikki and Stein's Gate. If you think we have similar taste then go ahead down the list.

This series resolves around the mafia similar to Gangsta however without the abnormal fighting power in hitmans. The art work reminded me of Tokyo Ghoul in a way but you could have a different opinion.
I rate it 10/10

I give it 9/10, don't think I need to talk much about it thanks to all the publicity on it but its pretty much your cliche warrior hero but with a semi twisted mind and curse. Also a lot of gore.

Masterpiece imo.
This slice of life science fiction series have the potential to become my new all time favorite anime. 11/10. MC somehow gets a letter that tells her event ahead of time and she uses it to her advantage to try and change the future of her dear friend. Extremely creative and unpredictable. Lots of onion tho. If you liked Anohana, this is for you.

This one is pretty cliche and average. Similar to Soul Eater with the partner concept except its a vampire that gets power boosts when you let it drink your blood. MC's partner is a lazy mother fucker but charming.

When you just read the name, you'd think of a battery like the one you use for your electronics but no. This is about a young adult who has a lot of talent with baseball. Another slice of life anime but very good. Although MC is an asshole who acts high and mighty all the time, he's probably gonna change for the better in his new environment. Similar to Barakamon

I think I'll try watching those, I usually just skim the picture and summary before watching animes and I've already looked past/ignored those.

You missed a shit tonne of interesting ones @OP. Taboo Tattoo looks like it'd be up your alley. Other ones I'm loving as a slice of life and romance fan are NEW GAME!, momkuri, and sweetness and lightning. Infact those three are my favourite of the season, duking it out for top spot.
