[Kyrus]

Before you read this thread, my favorite anime of all time was Mirai Nikki and Stein's Gate. If you think we have similar taste then go ahead down the list.

91 Days

This series resolves around the mafia similar to Gangsta however without the abnormal fighting power in hitmans. The art work reminded me of Tokyo Ghoul in a way but you could have a different opinion.

I rate it 10/10

Berserk (2016)

I give it 9/10, don't think I need to talk much about it thanks to all the publicity on it but its pretty much your cliche warrior hero but with a semi twisted mind and curse. Also a lot of gore.

Orange

Masterpiece imo.
This slice of life science fiction series have the potential to become my new all time favorite anime. 11/10. MC somehow gets a letter that tells her event ahead of time and she uses it to her advantage to try and change the future of her dear friend. Extremely creative and unpredictable. Lots of onion tho. If you liked Anohana, this is for you.

Servamp

This one is pretty cliche and average. Similar to Soul Eater with the partner concept except its a vampire that gets power boosts when you let it drink your blood. MC's partner is a lazy mother fucker but charming.

Battery

9/10
When you just read the name, you'd think of a battery like the one you use for your electronics but no. This is about a young adult who has a lot of talent with baseball. Another slice of life anime but very good. Although MC is an asshole who acts high and mighty all the time, he's probably gonna change for the better in his new environment. Similar to Barakamon

You forgot DAYS and Taboo Tattoo.

Twin Star Exorcists is a pretty gnarly anime

I think he's only using anime that started this season. I'd suggest Food Wars otherwise.

DAYS

MC is garbage. 🤫

Only watching since its sports.

Gonna have to disagree with that, the animation is god awful.

Yeah I hate the style but Ajin and God Eater was pretty much the same.

The content is nice.

What the fuck man, the new Berserk is horse shit.

The content is nice.

Then watch the OG Berserk anime. Or better yet, read the manga. I know a lot of people like to just say "read the manga" to act like an elitist. But Berserk is different. The Berserk manga is literally one of the greatest pieces of fantasy I've seen, period.

The only manga I've read completely was KHR lol

But yup, I'll try reading it.

I just don't like the art, only watched the anime cuz its semi bearable.

I think I'll try watching those, I usually just skim the picture and summary before watching animes and I've already looked past/ignored those.

But now that I've checked them out again, I think I might just have to watch em.

---

I think you should also include Alderamin on the Sky, which is quite popular and imo a pretty decent anime this season. But otherwise, yeah those are some good season animes. I've been watching 91 days and I love it.

Yeah I skipped that one cuz I thought it would be like Kaze no Stigma (which I hated), but I'll try watching it again.

[Happeh]

You missed a shit tonne of interesting ones @OP. Taboo Tattoo looks like it'd be up your alley. Other ones I'm loving as a slice of life and romance fan are NEW GAME!, momkuri, and sweetness and lightning. Infact those three are my favourite of the season, duking it out for top spot.

Aww I like the main character.
